GOALS AND OBJECTIVES
To promote a love of God, through the teaching of the Catholic Church, that begins within each student and extends to family, school and community.- To create a welcoming Christian environment that provides a safe and secure place in which to learn and grow.
- To provide an educational environment where children are eager to learn more about themselves and the world around them.
- To keep Sacred Heart School a family oriented establishment encouraging partnerships between parents and staff in order to provide the best possible education for each child.
- To teach students to be aware of the changing world around them but the unchanging love of God.
- To guide students in exercising their Christian conscience when making difficult decisions.
- To serve God, by serving each other with mutual respect, caring and love, being careful to honor differences and individuality.
- To foster an ability to work with others through sharing, cooperation and a sense of community.
- To provide a balanced curriculum that educates the whole child in the arts and sciences in addition to basic skills.
- To promote a true sense of wonder, curiosity and love of learning in each student, to ensure a continuation of the attainment of knowledge into the future.
- To continue our education as a staff at Sacred Heart School, both academically and spiritually, through seminars, workshops, and classes so we provide current material to the students for growth and development.
